一、菸害防制法於112年3月22日修正施行，依第15條規定，全面禁止電子煙等類菸品，並嚴格管制符合菸品定義之新型態菸草產品（包含加熱菸），所有菸草產品皆有害，不論是使用紙菸或加熱菸，都會產生相似的有毒化學物質。
二、任何人不得使用類菸品（含電子煙）及未經核定通過健康風險評估審查之指定菸品（含加熱菸），最高可罰1萬元。
三、國健署網站之菸害防制主題置有「電子煙防制專區」（網址：https://www.hpa.gov.tw/Pages/List.aspx?

四、Yahoo奇摩搜尋引擎建置「大口呼吸無菸空氣別碰電子煙及加熱菸」主題專區（網址:https://tw.news.yahoo.com/topic/2020health），提供多元菸害（包括加熱菸）及電子煙危害相關素材。
五、依據「菸害防制法」規定未滿20歲不得吸菸。
1.The Tobacco Hazards Prevention Act was amended and enforced on March 22, 2023. According to Article 15, e-cigarettes and similar tobacco products are completely prohibited, and new types of tobacco products that meet the definition of tobacco (including heated tobacco) are strictly regulated. All tobacco products are harmful; whether using conventional cigarettes or heated tobacco, both generate similar toxic chemicals.
2.No one may use e-cigarettes or similar products, nor designated tobacco products (including heated tobacco) that have not passed the required health risk assessment. Violators are subject to a fine of up to NT$10,000.

5.According to the Tobacco Hazards Prevention Act, individuals under the age of 20 are prohibited from smoking.
